Summary. Authors determined the therapeutic efficacy of the use of medicinal aerosols for bronchopneumonia in sheep at dictyocaulous-bacterial etiology. The studies were carried out on lambs 4-6 months of age with clinical signs of bronchopneumonia and the presence of larvae of the Dictyocaulidae family in feces. Sick sheep were treated in a complex with the use of antibiotics, bronchodilators and immunostimulants, since the disease was complicated by opportunistic microflora, as evidenced by bacteriological examination of pathological material from dead and sick animals. The preparations were administered parenterally to one group of animals, and aerosolly to the another. The best therapeutic effect (100%) was noted in the groups of sheep, where a complex treatment regimen was used, including the ivermek anthelmintic and the antibiotic Enroxil, regardless of the route of administration. The normalization of the clinical status of the body, the disappearance of signs of damage to the respiratory system, no larvae of the Dictyocaulidae family were detected in the feces on the 10th day after treatment in the lambs of these groups. The improvement in the general condition of the animals occurred on the third day after the use of the medicines. However, aerosol administration had the higher therapeutic effect, mainly aimed at the respiratory organs, drugs were used more economically, the work of veterinary workers was greatly facilitated, and also, getting directly into the pathological focus, medicinal substances bypassed the liver, the cleansing and neutralizing functions of which can affect the activity of preparations, which significantly reduces their dose. Thus, the treatment of lambs with associative bronchopneumonia is most effective with the use of complex aerosol therapy with the use of an anthelmintic with an antibiotic (ivermek and enroxil). The use of these drugs in the form of an aerosol was more cost-effective due to the reduction in drug doses than their intramuscular application.
