Efficiency of complex app lication of preparations based on probiotic bacteria in the prevention of mastitis and enhancing milk quality

Summary

Most important parameters in the evaluation of milk quality and its suitability for processing is microbiological safety and quantity of somatic cells, which directly depends on condition of mammary gland and closely connected with the problem of rehabilitation of mastitis.

Data on the effect of complex application of disinfectants containing probiotics on the incidence of mastitis and milk quality are presented in the article. Research results showed that tested probiotic preparations have complex positive effects on the health status of udder and enhance the quality of produced raw milk, which is confirmed by appropriate investigations.
