Urolithiasis diagnostics in cats

Abstract. The article contains information on the consistent conduct of diagnostic studies and diagnosis of urolithiasis in cats, data on seasonality, etiology, age and sexual predisposition to this pathology are indicated. the analysis of the registered diseases of the urinary system is carried out. using the example of clinical cases, the algorithm of observations, instrumental and laboratory analyses in urolithiasis of carnivorous animals is indicated. changes in blood parameters, physico-chemical properties of urine, the result of ultrasound examination of urinary organs, microscopy of urinary sediment and examination of concretions after cystolithotomy are established and presented. recommendations are given for the treatment of urolithiasis using dietary feeds, depending on the type of concretions and the prevention of the appearance of urolithiasis in the organs of education and urinary excretion, with a description of the basic rules for keeping cats.
