Summary. Intestinal microbiocenosis is a highly specialized system that is sensitive to qualitative and quantitative changes in the dynamic state of the body and adverse external influences. According to the modern scientific concept, the normal microflora of an animal is considered as a phylogenetically established system of many microbiocenoses characterized by a certain species composition and occupying one or another biotope in the body. Indigenous (own) intestinal microflora includes lacto- and bifidobacteria, which are active antagonists of opportunistic and pathogenic enterobacteria. The level of antagonistic activity of the intestinal autoflora and the performance of the above functions directly depend on the composition and quantitative characteristics of the indigenous microflora of the gastrointestinal tract. Bacteriological studies of indigenous microflora were carried out by the authors according to generally accepted methods in microbiology for determining the morphological and cultural properties of microorganisms. The article presents the results of a study of the effect of mycotoxins in the feed of sows on the quantitative and qualitative composition of the indigenous microflora in the feces of piglets aged from one day to two months. Feeding of sows during pregnancy and lactation with complete feed without mycotoxins contributes to a faster quantitative and qualitative formation of indigenous microflora, consisting of an association of bifidobacteria, lactobacilli, enterococci and Escherichia. In piglets obtained from sows, in the feed with mycotoxins, the amount of useful microflora was significantly lower. The level of indigenous microflora from 5 lg/g of feces prevents reproduction in the intestines of young animals of conditionally pathogenic microflora and protects piglets from nonspecific gastroenteritis.
