Pharmaco-toxicological properties of Kargmez phytoimmunopreparation

Summary. As a result of the conducted studies, we found that after the use of the phyto-immuno drug karg mez, there were no deviations in functional activity from the cardiovascular system in animals. The rhythm and heart rate were within the physiological norm. Violations of metabolic processes in the urinary system were not detected. The drug had a positive effect on metabolism and functional activity of internal organs (liver, kidneys, pancreas). Kargmez stimulates the growth of body weight and internal organs within the physiological norm, which indicates the absence of a negative effect on the development of organs and tissues of the animal body. The drug promotes the increase of segmented neutrophils - cells that regulate the immune response. At autopsy of control and kargmez-treated rats, small-point formations of dark red color located subpleurally in the area of the right or left lung were determined in 10% of rats. The remaining organs of the thoracic and abdominal cavities in control and experimental animals were within the limits of physioanatomic dimensions, and in animals receiving drugs in subtoxic doses, they were somewhat hyperemic. The serous membranes were shiny and smooth. Pathoanatomic changes of organs and tissues were not detected. With prolonged use, the phytoimmunopreparation kargmez does not have a negative effect on the internal organs and tissues of animals, their structure, morpho-biochemical composition of blood and basic metabolic processes. The drug does not cause a locally irritating and allergenic effect. According to the degree of toxicity, the phytopreparation kargmez belongs to hazard class IV - low-hazard substances (GOST 12.1.007-76). Administration of the drug to laboratory animals at a maximum dose (3.0 ml) does not cause death and acute intoxication, does not have a negative effect on their general condition and behavior. Long-term use of the drug does not have a negative effect on the internal organs and tissues of animals, the structure, morpho-biochemical composition of blood and basic metabolic processes. The drug does not have a locally irritating and allergizing effect.
