Pathomorphological diagnosis of infectious animal diseases using the example of diagnosing parvovirus enteritis in dogs and cats (panleukopenia)

Summary. Infectious diseases of small domestic animals are increasingly being reported in cat and dog populations. The threat of parvovirus enteritis in dogs and cats (panleukopenia) determines the importance of controlling the spread of this disease among animals. This article provides a description of the causative agent of the disease, the epizootology of this disease, transmission routes, pathogenesis and clinical signs, as well as methods for diagnosing parvovirus enteritis of dogs and cats (panleukopenia). This article will be in demand in the educational process when studying parvovirus enteritis of dogs and cats (panleukopenia) and among practicing veterinarians.
