Intestinal microbiota state in healthy cows and at necrobacteriosis

Terekhov V.I., Malysheva T.V., Kramar P.V., Skorikov A.V.

Summary

Necrobacillosis is factorial infectious disease, occurrence of which depends on the conditions and feeding of animals. The aim of research was to examine the qualitative and quantitative composition of the distal gut microflora of cows and its enzymatic activity in different physiological periods and at necrobacteriosis. At necrobacteriosis intestinal microbiota state is in marked imbalance, which is evident not only in the ratio imbalance of symbiontic, saprophytic and opportunistic pathogens, but also in a significant decrease of enzymatic activity of the intestinal microflora. At necrobacteriosis number of lactobacilli and bifidobacteria were even lower, ranging 3,7 and 4,25 lg CFU/g, when the number of micromycetes, Clostridium, Bacteroides, bacilli, enterococci and Escherichia increased by 1-2 times. So, for elimination or prevention of necrobacteriosis intestinal microbial structure must be normalized.

Key words: cow, distal intestine, intestinal microbiocenosis, dysbiosis, intestinal microflora, symbionts, necrobacteriosis.
