Seasonal dynamics of separate indices of immunity

Summary

Lymphocytes have the common morphological characteristic and they are differentiated according to the presence of the surface CD (claster differenciation), markers and functionally different populations and subpopulations: T-lymphocytes (thymus-dependent which passed initial difference in thymus), B-lymphocytes (Bursa-dependent which passed maturation in bird’s Fabricius pouch or in its mammal’s analogue) and O-lymphocytes (null-cells). After the first meeting of organism with geterologus antigene in lympho organs, the populations of T- and B- lymphocytes reserve. Proliferating in response to the activation signal which was got frame antigene recognizing receptors keep and they can link with it when its next penetration. This mechanism is very specific and important because the intensive technologies of cattle-breeding, disbalanced food allowance gee ding, disgestive disorder, ectozoic- and entozoic parazites can reduce immunity status of animal’s organism. So far as immunity system is rather labile its components change considerably and it is depends on environment factors, especially during the transition to stalled or posturable periods and during changing of seasons.

That’s why the objective estimation of some indexes of immunity status for cattlebreeding animals in particular sheep, when having different pathology promotes more true diagnostics and taking prophylactic precautions for the preserving of animal’s health, raising productivity, selection of optimal periods for realisation of planned epizootical arrangements.

The researches which was carried showed that we should consider season’s variations when planning epizootical arrangements for sheep including the specific preventive measures. So, it was established that during autumn and winter the level of leucocytes reduces and in spring and summer it becomes higher.

In common, the quantity of lymphocytes increases in winter and in spring, but the level of T- and B- lymphocytes has its higher point in summer and is minimal in autumn. Functional activity of leucocytes in autumn is higher at an average 30,13% and glycolytic activity of lymphocytes in autumn reduces in severaltimes in comparison with the other seasons.
